Lisa Burress, LICSW, MHP, CMHS, RPT™
President
Lisa (she/her) is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and Registered Play Therapist™. She obtained her Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of North Dakota in 2016. Lisa currently works with clients in a private practice setting. Prior to this, Lisa worked with children, youth, and families in a variety of settings including; child care, afterschool programs, summer camps, foster care programs, juvenile hall, a youth shelter, a school-based mentor program, community mental health, and other community-based programs. She is a firm believer in the power of play in working with kids and families. She is excited to spread awareness to families and other providers, as well as empowering and encouraging providers who experience burnout.

Kimberly Autrey, Ph.D., LMHC, RPT™, NCC
Vice President
Kimberly Autrey (she/her) is a core faculty member in the Counselor Education Department at City University of Seattle. Dr. Autrey obtained her Ph.D. from the University of North Texas in 2021 and her Masters in Counseling from the University of North Texas in 2016. She has over a decade of experience working with young children and their families as a child-centered play therapist (CCPT). She has provided clinical supervision to master’s-level students at varying levels of development and mental health professionals seeking certification in CCPT. Dr. Autrey has published several articles on the integration of nature-based treatments with traditional CCPT, the use of Child-Parent Relationship Therapy with preadolescents, and the use of play therapy in K-12 school settings. She is passionate about the power of play therapy and loves sharing its transformative impact with other professionals and clients.

Megan Stonelake, LPC, LMHC, RPT™
Treasurer
Megan (she/her) s a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Registered Play Therapist™, and Child Mental Health Specialist. She obtained her Masters of Arts in Counseling from George Fox University in 2009. She has worked with children and families in a variety of settings since then, including residential treatment, intensive community-based treatment, adoption work, and school-based therapy. Megan currently works as a therapist, parent educator, and clinical supervisor in private practice. Megan is passionate about serving neurodivergent children as well as foster and adoptive families. She has seen firsthand the magic of play therapy and how well it integrates with other modalities she frequently uses, including animal-assisted therapy and EMDR. Megan particularly loves using sandtray, AutPlay®, and attachment-based play therapy. Outside of work, she is a wife, mother, and dog fanatic.

Kristin Dickerson, LMHCA
Secretary
Kristin (she/her) is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate with a deep-rooted passion for supporting children and families. After 11 years as a school counselor, Kristin transitioned into private practice in 2024 to focus exclusively on play therapy. She holds a B.S. in Education from Ohio University and an M.S. in Counseling from the
University of Vermont. Currently working toward her Registered Play Therapist (RPT) credential, Kristin specializes in Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT). She also utilizes Child-Parent Relationship Therapy (CPRT) to empower parents in the healing process. Kristin believes play is a child’s natural language and the most powerful tool for growth and emotional wellness. Outside of the playroom, she enjoys practicing yoga, taking long walks, traveling, and spending quality time with her family.

Jessamy Whitsitt, LMFT, RPT™
Past President
Jessamy (she/they) is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, a Registered Play Therapist ™ and a certified AutPlay® Therapist. She provides therapy in Washington State for children, teens, adults and families. Jessamy is also a parent coach and provide consultations to other professionals that work with neurodivergent (ND) and LGBTQIA+ populations. She is an LGBTQIA+ and ND affirming provider. Jessamy's background working with children began when she was a teen herself. She has been a camp counselor, nanny, Montessori teacher, parent educator and foster parent. She is also a proud parent to a teen that is college-bound soon. Jessamy has significant experience working with neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ children, adoptees, teens and their parents, as well as individual adults. Jessamy believes strongly in the power of play therapy with children.

Darcy Greene, LMFT, RPT™
Darcy (she/her/hers) is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Registered Play Therapist™. She graduated from Antioch University in Seattle in 2022 and has a private practice in Seattle. She loves working with kids of all ages and their parents/caregivers, individual adults, and couples using Child Centered Play Therapy, Synergetic Play Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy. Her professional and volunteer experience includes parent educator, PEPS group facilitator, program manager, and entrepreneur. She co-chaired Antioch Seattle's Diversity Council from 2021-2023. Darcy received a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Seattle University in 2007. Outside of her practice Darcy enjoys being with her family - her husband, adult kids when they are around, and 2 dogs. She loves to be outside, read, travel and spend time with friends.

Molly Case, LMHCA
Molly Case (she/her) is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate. She graduated from Northwestern University, specializing in child and adolescent therapy. She earned her B.S. in Psychology from the University of Central Florida, where her studies focused on child development. After graduation, she worked for three years in Applied Behavioral Analysis therapy as a Registered Behavior Technician. Molly is passionate about working with individuals who have experienced trauma through Play Therapy and is a Certified Trauma Professional. In her free time, she enjoys practicing yoga, bouldering, and spending time with her partner, friends, and cat.

Emmett Stanfield, LICSW
Emmett Stanfield (they/them) is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. They received their Masters in Social Work from the University of Washington in 2017. They have over a decade of experience working with queer and trans young people in professional settings, and have specialized in working with queer and trans kids and teens as a therapist for the past five years. Emmett is neurodivergent, and is passionate about working with neurodivergent youth and the power of neurodivergent affirming spaces. They believe that play is the language of children and loves using the magic of play therapy in their work with youth.
