Basic Conference Information
It is a goal that we are able to provide trainings in Washington State for our currently credentialed Registered Play Therapists; people working on becoming a Registered Play Therapist; and for those who just want to learn about play therapy in general!
Our hope is to provide a minimum of 18 CEs per year to our membership. We aim to minimally hold 2 conferences throughout the year through our Spring and Fall Conferences. Our Spring Conference is usually held as a 2 day conference in Western Washington. Our Fall Conference has typically been held in person in Eastern Washington. However, when taking into account our members requests, we are trying something new this year (September of 2024) for Fall Conference! We will be providing you with a multiple presenter, online series format starting this year to allow you to be flexible when attending conferences, allow you to attend topics you are interested in and not have to take too much time away from work, family, and/or other obligations that you may have.
WA4PT is working really hard to make sure trainings are easily accessible for our current members and future members. Between our efforts to offer smaller, more frequent online trainings; our full 2-day Spring Conference; and partnering with Oregon & Idaho APT Chapters, we want to make sure you have access to training options throughout the entire Pacific Northwest! We have done this because we want to make sure you have as many CE options open to you as you want!
